Rich Temple specializes in advising C-level healthcare executives on matters of business strategy and technology. He has over 25 years of healthcare experience at all levels. He recently led numerous strategic projects around physician-health system alignment, touching on many current healthcare priorities. Rich was a Vice President for Provider Systems at HighPoint Solutions and a National Practice Director for IT Strategy for Beacon Partners (now KPMG), an established consulting firm dedicated to serving the healthcare provider community. Before joining Beacon, Rich was the CIO at AristaCare Health Services and Catholic Health Initiatives/Saint Clare’s Health System where he led many system implementations, including a major “big-bang” award-winning EHR implementation. Rich also spent several years at McKesson as Executive Director of Systems and Technology Solutions for McKesson’s Revenue Cycle Outsourcing group. Rich has led many clinical and revenue cycle transformation activities and was an early adopter of sophisticated BI tools as a CIO.
Rich is a former President and Board Member of the statewide Chapter of HIMSS in New Jersey. He has been widely published in industry magazines and has spoken at many major health information technology events. Rich received his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and his BA from the University of Rochester.
